The plate heat exchangers are sensitive to contaminations like sludge, lime, or other deposits. Already a 1 mm deposited water scale layer reduces heat transmission, efficiency with 10 – 30 %.
Our chemicals used for cleaning DO NOT damage steel, aluminium, red copper, rubber, plastic, plexi, the filters and the sealings!
